Continua la corsa a perdifiato della squadra di Giandomenico, che batte anche le friulane e si assesta in zona poule promozione
Nella calza della Befana dell’Hermaea Olbia c’è la quinta vittoria consecutiva! La squadra di Giandomenico si aggiudica al tie break la sfida contro Talmassons e sale al quinto posto nella classifica del campionato di A2. Al PalAltoGusto è andata in scena una partita pazza, che le galluresi hanno condotto bene nei primi due set, salvo poi accusare un brusco calo che le ha portate a temere la sconfitta. Nella quinta e decisiva frazione, però, le biancoblu hanno ripreso lo slancio e sono riuscite a far loro un successo preziosissimo.
LA GARA – In gran fiducia dopo i recenti successi, l’Hermaea inizia molto bene e guadagna presto 5 lunghezze di vantaggio (muro vincente di Angelini per l’11-6). Hatala, opposto polacco di Talmassons, è protagonista della rimonta delle friulane, capaci di conquistare la parità a quota 15. Dopo il timeout di Giandomenico le padrone di casa ritrovano le loro certezze e piazzano un nuovo allungo col primo tempo di Barazza che vale il 22-19. Gomiero riporta le sue a contatto (24-23), ma poi commette l’errore che consegna il primo set alle olbiesi.
La seconda frazione è inizialmente combattuta, poi l’Hermaea dà la prima spallata sul 14-8 grazie ad alcuni pregevoli attacchi di Maruotti e Fiore. Talmassons si tiene a galla ma non va mai oltre il -3. Le galluresi mantengono costantemente la testa nel punteggio, tentennano leggermente sul 21-19, ma poi Angelini ed Emmel spengono definitivamente le resistenze ospiti (25-19).
Nel terzo set c’è poca storia: Barazza e compagne calano bruscamente e sono sempre costrette a inseguire. Giandomenico spende presto i due timeout a sua disposizione, ma non riesce a invertire l’inerzia, sempre saldamente nelle mani di Talmassons. Con i punti garantiti da Joly, Gomiero e Hatala le friulane toccano agevolmente il +10 prima di chiudere sul punteggio di 12-25. Più combattuto il quarto game, con l’Hermaea che tiene testa fino all’8 pari, ma poi si ferma nuovamente e scivola sul -5 (muro di Gomiero, 10-15). Emmel prova a riaccendere la fiammella della speranza con il diagonale che vale il -3 (16-19), ma non basta per la rimonta: la solita Gomiero conquista la palla set e Nardini sfrutta al primo tentativo portando la sfida al tie break.
L’inerzia psicologica del match sembra, a questo punto, totalmente nelle mani delle ospiti. Invece a sorpresa è l’Hermaea a rendersi protagonista di una veemente reazione: le biancoblù sono implacabili e annichiliscono le avversarie arrivando fino all’8-0. Dopo il cambio campo Talmassons riesce a scuotersi e annulla ben 4 palle set alle biancoblu. La quinta, però, è quella buona: Fiore abbatte il muro friulano e fa scattare la festa: l’Hermaea può dire la sua per la poule promozione!
